Privacy Policy — Loan Expert

Loan Labs provides Loan Expert (Android package: com.koshelek.calculate), a loan repayment calculator and personal budget tracker. This policy describes how the current calculator and budgeting version handles information.

Information you enter

Loan Expert stores information you enter in its local app storage. This includes calculator amounts, interest rates and repayment terms; income, expenses and recurring payments; and language, currency and notification preferences. If the introductory form is displayed, the name, phone number, selected phone region and amount entered in that form are also stored locally. The introductory code step is handled within the app and does not use Firebase phone authentication or send a real SMS.

The current app code does not directly upload your form name, phone number or financial ledger to a developer-operated server. These local records support calculations, budgeting, saved preferences and the introductory flow.

Android backup or device-transfer services may copy local app data depending on your device, operating system and backup settings. Manage those copies through your device or backup provider.

Information processed automatically

Loan Expert uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Remote Config in the Firebase-enabled version.

Firebase Analytics processes app interactions and usage events, app-instance and device identifiers, device and app information, and approximate geographic information inferred from IP addresses. It may access the Android Advertising ID when available. We use analytics to understand app usage and improve the app.

Firebase Remote Config processes installation identifiers, app/device information and configuration requests to deliver app settings. Service providers receive network information, including IP addresses, when your device connects to their services.

The app also reads and caches available Google Play installation-referral information, such as campaign/source parameters. It creates a random installation identifier and attempts to retrieve and cache the Android Advertising ID. The current calculator and budgeting version does not display lender offers or send those cached identifiers through lender-offer links.

The app uses the device language and available SIM/network country information for initial language and currency settings. It does not request precise GPS location, contacts, SMS inbox, photos, camera or microphone access.

Information processed by providers may be handled outside your country. Provider retention, safeguards and processing locations depend on the services and applicable project settings.

If you contact us by email, your email address, message and any information you choose to include are processed by our email service to let us respond. Please do not send passwords, bank card information or unnecessary identity documents.

We may disclose information under our control when required by applicable law or a valid legal request.

Retention and deletion

Local app records remain until you delete them or clear app storage. Financial entries can be edited or deleted using the financial tools. The in-app clear-data control clears the financial ledger; it does not clear all introductory form records, preferences or cached identifiers.

To clear the app's local stored information, open Android Settings, select Apps, choose Loan Expert, open Storage and choose Clear storage or Clear data. Names of settings vary by device. New settings and identifiers may be generated when you use the app again.

Clearing local storage does not delete information already processed by Firebase, email correspondence or platform backups. Firebase information is retained according to the active service and project retention settings; it is not necessarily deleted within 90 days. Backup copies are managed through the backup provider. Support messages are retained as needed to handle your request and any related legal obligations.

We may need enough information to identify the relevant data and verify your request. Some analytics records cannot be located using a name or email alone. We will explain what action is available and any retention obligation that applies.

Notifications and choices

The app can show locally scheduled notifications with the relevant Android permission. You can turn notifications off in the app or Android settings. Device settings determine whether notification content appears on the lock screen.

You can change app language and currency and clear local records. Android offers advertising privacy controls, but changing those controls does not erase data previously collected or automatically clear identifiers cached by the app. The current version does not include an in-app analytics opt-out switch.

Security

Local records are stored in Android's app-private storage. Firebase encrypts data in transit using HTTPS. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Protect access to your device and manage its backup and lock-screen settings.

Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, to object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also be able to complain to a relevant data protection authority. Contact loanexpert@gmail.com with questions or requests.

Children

Loan Expert is not designed for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information that is being processed by us, contact loanexpert@gmail.com so we can investigate and address it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page and its revision date when our practices change. Material new uses of information will be disclosed, and consent requested where required, before they begin. This policy covers the calculator and budgeting version; adding lender referrals or other new data uses requires updating the disclosures.
